So, as a genuine question and to buff up my post with unquoted text so I don't have to start italicizing everything which gets annoying, can anyone guess what the new game to be unveiled on Wednesday is? I think I recognise the art style, but I can't be sure.

Haha, actually my indirect post towards no one was directed towards him, since he was talking about having issues beating the last boss. In the end, as long as he finds out and helps spread the info so we can all get the medal easier, then we've done our job. Although it would be nice to know if I actually helped someone personally.

You guys need to (secretly) share accounts so you can get all the medals from people who can actually get the medals. It's kind of a bummer to know that the only reason why you can't get certain medals is due to the performance (or lack thereof) of your computer.

My theory for the balloon puking is that the balloon itself is a living entity, ate breakfast, started throwing up, and keeps eating poisoned candy, because it has a sweet tooth. This game has nothing to do with anything in the news. I don't know what you guys are talking about. A little boy hanging out in his attic is not the same as a balloon dodging birds, puking to stop them, eating candy, and making them disappear once it has popped. Honestly, you guys are making a big deal out of nothing =P

Exactly. The balloon was actually an alien sent to Earth to get that boy on TV then escape. Its only weapon is PUKE, Poly-Undelium-Kerosene-Ether, that it can replenish through contact with 'candy'-grams that the mothership sends down for support. The game is about the intense struggle that the alien has to go through to reach home, but always fails miserably in the end.

i found a bug :P... i managed to get killed the same time as the other guy... so naturaly... the game carrys on while i restart the level... but still no medal for me >:(

Well that blows chunks. Thanks for the info bud. Just nailed a distance of 6,203,492.9 feet a few minutes ago. Still had 4 rounds left in my Golden Gun and was caught by a UFO while cruising through space. Unfortunately I used the Chest Bomb around the 1 million mark. Does the Chest Bomb work againts UFOs?

Yes..about that game...l can't get more than 6000 :(
And l am good with dogding, the thing is that l always die because of the slow ballon response.
Example: l see a bird flying towards me...immediately l move my mouse up, but not hard enough, so the ballon moves a fourth of a second later...kinda hard to exaplain..

I'm so glad I finished up with the medal games from last week. Now I can focus on other things for the rest of this week, like ...waiting for that thing Egoraptor's coming out with tomorrow.

Also, I think it's blatantly obvious that all the balloon family was trying to do was to recreate the fabled story of Anne Frank.

Hmm, I think it depends on your processor speed.. See, I can achieve this medal with my old laptop. It's an IBM and games on NG go "Slo Mo" which makes it easier to dodge and have better reflex timing =P.

Most people would have a higher medal score than me. I don't consider myself as big of an achievement hunter as everyone else, although I am replaying the games for medals now (even though I originally said, "I beat the game and should have gotten the medal, so I'm satisfied).

Start sharing with your buddies, or go out of your way and buy a (computer with a) slow processing unit. If you do the latter, then I would suggest playing other games to really see how some games and medals aren't meant for all of us @.@ Still, when you think about it, 6000 is 3000 more than where it starts to get "hard", so that still says something. Optimism! =D

I was surprised that the Transformer spoof didn't have any medals. It's just that every single game featured on the front page (the big box, not the collection under it) had medals. And I thought this movie would too. I was a bit skeptical that there was a movie with medals coming out one day before this new big mystery game. But it's just a featured movie.

But it was hella funny! And I can't wait to see what this weird game will be. It must be quite special if it's gonna be a surprise.
