That's not so much a "walkthrough" as it is a cheap-ass cheat sheet. A real walkthrough would tell a person how to beat the things that give you the PWs, not the PWs themselves.

Exactly, that guide is no fun, and it makes the medals in that game useless since anybody can get them (without even playing or performing any tasks!)
As you say a guide should say "do these things and the password will be revealed", not "the password is xxxxxxxx".

lol, I've just been looking through some people's medal lists and you can always spot the same generic cheaters. They have all the achievements accept 'Click, click, click...'. So they must have used cheats codes or else they wouldn't have got the pass for level 27. I urge you all to play the game properly, it is much more satisfying to get the achievements by yourself.

Hmmm... the game was a good take on newgrounds with a strong newgrounds theme... still dont understand why people find the 9 square puzzle so hard?!?... anway... after rushing through it to get medals i went back and finished it up proper... i liked the look of the mini games so went back to play it again... most people want the medals ^^... *cough*

I played the game properly. I only got the medals so fast because I remembered all the codes from when I first played it. Besides Click, click, click wasn't really that hard for me. I guess I'm just that good at those kind of games.

The only way you can tell if someone has geniunely beat the game is if this have the achievement order like mine. I tended to miss all the secret room achievements first run through the game and even on Level 30 I just clicked off the window missing those 2 achievements too.

I wouldn't have missed them with a walkthrough, but I didn't use one.

It mostly depends if people used to play those sorts of games as a kid, I learned how to do it really fast while testing the game.

I didn't find it easy, but i managed to complete it. I hate these kind of puzzles, they are always simple when you discover the logic but until then, you're not going to get anywhere. You just drained 30 minutes of my life, give them back.

I decided to to attempt to get all the medals, but after a few hours I decided to say "no thanks". The only fun game to try to get the medals was portal defenders. Almost all of the rest of the game's medals are just unfun, broken, or tedious bullshit. I wish quality games like don't look back or nevemore had medals.

The medal feature is a fun way to get you more into games that you would have already enjoyed otherwise. Anyone that decides to struggle through a game they hate just to achieve medals is doing so due to thier own compulsiveness, and need not get angry at newgrounds for putting medals in games they do not like. Just dont play them, and definately dont cry about it.

I found myself trying Fear Unlimited Iss. 2 becuase it had medals, and much to my chagrin I noticed how impossibly boring and broken the game was. So I quit it. No need to burn up your brain in futile effort.

Except for a few glitched medals and a few hard medals the game is quite easy actually. There isn't anything in the game that glitches to the point where if you have patience and any gaming talent whatsoever you can't overcome.

There are only three more medals that I can get from that game and the other two are glitched, but I recently talked to the game creator and they are working things out.

Yes, i think it would be a great idea if you do it. The first part is just answers and has no effort in it, maby in yours you could give hintsand clues to help and in a separate one just give the answer to them. The ladder part of it is just choppy and poorly written, it makes little sence. i had to sit there and re-read it several times to fully understand it.

Hum, I'm gonna ask this one time, then I'll just give up. I suck really bad at Fear Unlimited, so I'd need tips badly. I kinda figured by myself that the fastest/safest/easiest way to get rid of the common monsters is to pop 'em up in the air and crush them against the sidelevel while "flying" (how badly glitched is this game *sigh*). However, that's far from enough to get someone as bad at it as me to even pass the third level ... so thinking about earning badges is out of question for now.

I'm somehow able to deal with the bomb-deamons, but I'm very weak against any kind of monster that can block (let's take these guys with big red sword or the little reptile-like monster from the first level). How the heck am I supposed to crush 'em without getting a single hit ?

Argggh, FU2 is getting me pissed. I beat mission 6 without getting hurt, think I'm going to get my medal, and it freezes on me, EVEN THOUGH I didn't kill him on the far left side. Bullshit.

Level 18 is the spiked paddle and Level 39 is the chainsaw.

I agree with some of their points up there. I think the medal system is really cool but why bother playing games that don't look that interesting to you just to get their medals? If people visit your accounts, looked at your medals but notice that none of the games you played are in your favorites, they're going to get confused! I sure as hell would. Now I loved Portal Defenders! Aside from the medals, I though that the aspect of playing as and fighting well known NG regulars was fun! I'm just not motivated to play the other games. I think that as long as you won every medal from what fits your game preferences, you still deserve bragging rights!

I used to cheat at those games when I was a kid, pulling the things out then putting them back correctly, shame I couldn't do this in the game, I had to work it out. Couldn't do it this morning when I tried, but obviously waking up allowed me to be able to do it.
