From the attribute/skill screen, drag it to the right onto your little button-circle... Thing.
Then use it in a fight against an enemy.

Damn...I only have pictures of levels for instructions. The reason I didn't do a video was because some video walkthroughs just show gameplay, but do not give reasons for certain motions or strategies, so the viewer won't be able to replicate the same methods because they won't know the timing. The one I'm making tells the person what to do in the level shown.

If anyone wants to make a video walkthrough, feel free; I'm still working on mine.

Still working on the walkthrough, but I thought I'd post this:

These are all the different types of hazards you need to hit for the medal. I'm not sure if spikes going in each direction need to be hit, but I'd hit all four while playing it just to be safe (that means spikes coming out of the walls and the ceiling).

Don't bother trying to get the last medal in Runes of Shalak. So frustrating, and the medal turns out to be bugged. The other 4 work fine though.

Ummm way off topic and very old news. Anyone have tips on 80% p-bot cleanup in portal defenders!

Q. How to clean >80% with P-Bot?
A. It's best if you are in a corner when your character hops onto P-Bot. Start from that corner and drive down (or up) the screen. When you are all the way down ( or up) go left (or right, depending on which side of the screen you are) until you see your percentage rise by 1 point. Then drive up (or down) all the way, go left (right) until percentage rises 1 point. Continue until time runs out.

I don't why you guys are all bitching, Runes of Shalak was mega easy.

And I had fun, even if it was old + repetitive.

The only thing I didn't like was how level 3/5, I.E. the last level, took me about a million tries before I was fast enough to win.

Whose saying it's a hard game? I've seen at least 3 comments so far about how the game is so easy, but who are you guys quoting?

it's just annoying and gets boring after a while.

The artists on newgrounds must be working hard so thats why there are not a lot of games with medals so why dont we help them be making medals for them using Medal Get! and then tell them how people can get the medal in the game also dont forget to give them your medal design.

It seems very buggy almost. The platforms are all actually much smaller than they look, which is very annoying. Towards the end, just about every jump requires your farthest/highest jump...just a bit repetitive and very frustrating. Plus the last medal is glitched, so my spending half an hour on the hardest levels was a waste of time.

Well, I just went through the trouble of getting every medal in one run in Shalak, but only to refresh my page and see that they're not there.

I swear I will kill someone if the medal system isn't fixed.

So anyone got tips on how to beat Portal defenders with April? Also which characters are best to do Vegan and Horde medals with?

Almost got portal defenders done with! I told myself no more medals til Alkie Kong was done, but everytime I get frustrated with Diety, I find myself getting more medals in other games. I'm taking the weekend off tho, FLOAT TRIP and camping all weekend! BOOZE!BOOZE!BOOZE! I will be a real drunken diety this weekend!

Aw thank you man l didn't get my medals the first time l played it but l got them for my friend...karma is a bitch.
Also, the best character to get Vegan and Horde Fighter with is probably the tough, slow one because of his immense atack strength and health...
Getting Vegan is very hard because you have to constantly keep an eye on the floor to avoid eating something, but at least you don't have that problem when fighting Wadofl since the zombies actually eat the guts....l don't know if they gain health, but they eat them.

And chris, l'd like to respond to your message but l got really sick of this so l'll just leave it alone...

i haven't played that game in wuite a while now. I'd say Vegan and Horde are easiest with bob, as he is the strongest and you can get 2-3 hit kills, just be careful not to eat ANY type of organs, not just guts as the medal description suggests.

And with April just take advantage of her speed; you can just run around without getting hit..

Got that rune game is annoying....the worst part is that if you spend quite a lof of time to beat, say, 2/5, 2/6 and 2/7 and you really can't beat 2/8 in any way you just lose all your progress, but l guess that it could be worse, maybe with lives..

Like shut, except the timer stops every 3hrs. 48mins. You might want a stopwatch.
30 f/bs is only 7min. 36sec.
60 f/bs is only 3min. 48sec.
120 fbs is only 1min. 54sec.
******WARNING******
This also decreases the amount of time you have to copy/paste the code!
30 f/bs gives 8sec
60 f/bs gives 4sec
120 f/bs gives 2sec
I recommend 30 f/bs as it allows you enough time to do something while you wait, and gives you adequate reaction time when your stopwatch/timer goes off. Side effect: This will take 2hrs. 27mins (or more). If you don't want to wait that long, do 60 f/bs at your own risk.

So you can actually decrease the time to 2 minutes...you have only 2 seconds to paste the code, but who cares?
