the voices only know as much as the head they originate from. unless the schizophrenic had an understanding of operating systems, his voices aren't going to. however, it would be nice if the voices would say flattering things. like, "hey you look nice today." or "you're a winner."

I find most of these "hearing voices" is just an excuse used by people to try and avoid coping with their problems, I knew some idiot who kept going on about having a split personality that attacked people etc. it was clear he was lying as he tried using it on me and it was obvious it was him.

It doesn't have to be... we just make it a bad thing because that's all we hear about... bad voices saying bad things. But why?

What if the voices do say other things... but when we hear them we just intreprit them as 'our own thoughts'? What if our thoughts arn't thoughts, but voices saying really boring shit? That means I lack the ability to think... I'm just under the impression that I can. But in all reality, I'm being told what to do by a voice with no physical charactristics that only I can hear.

Actually, I disagree. I occasionally hear voices in my head [Yeah, I guess that makes me crazy in a way, but I'm not hurting anybody.] and they very rarely tell me to do bad things.
Actually, they're almost always in some language I can't understand. And the few times it is in english, they're normally just talking about something completely irrelevant to my life, as though they're not even speaking to me.

The only voices I hear are my split personalities. My psychotic side, my normal loving side, and my emo side(thank God he doesn't talk or take over that much.)
