I'd learn English if I couldn't speak English. Seriously, it's like the universal language. If I didn't speak it I'd want to.

Yeah my and my girlfriend are actually going to give Spanish a shot. Then once we get somewhat fluent in that, it'll be 10x easier to pick up some French.

Probably Armenian, so I can finally speak to the Armenian side of my family :3.
Or Chinese, because that's probably quite a useful language to learn.

Well dur, British is English. That's like saying Australian is a different langauge too. I'd learn French because it sounds cool, it's the language of love, and I could get super mad for no reason and shout random insults.

This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

I'd learn sign language so I can sign to the deaf people "HELP I CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!!?"
"Without love there is no hate"
"But good sir isn't love what bring everyone together?"
"To only pretend to love each other when they despise they're very existance... fools"

I would speak German, since I already know that one.
Wouldn't really effect me either, would just have to remain in Germany to work rather than flitting back and forth,

It's a nice language, what can I say? Plus, Canada is sort of like England...
This too will pass.

It's really not the universal language. Mandarin is way more widely spoken, and there's probably more texts written in Mandarin than English.
I'd actually like to learn Swedish. It's a very cool language with grammar that makes sense and words like nouns and verbs have certain suffixes to indicate what they are. I have a feeling that Swedish puns and word-play might be really hard to do.
