Pretty much all of my heritage is German, because they migrated to America to get free farm land and start communities. That explains the Jew jokes, many polka festivals, and so on.

Primarily German, with Polish, Swedish, French-Canadian, and Irish. No idea on percentages. I mostly focus on the German part. I might look more into the Swedish part though, with Sweden kicking the ass that it does.

I'm from Sweden, as far back as my chain of relatives goes it seems I'm still from Sweden, though I think my mothers fathers mothers mother was from Finland.

German, Irish mostly. Also Scottish, British, Swiss or Swedish, I don't really remember. So pretty much German and Irish and then a bunch of other crap that I never bother to remember. But it all boils down to I'm white yeah yeah yeahh.

it is interesting you say that. This may not be the case for all people. I'm born and raised in the USA, but technically 4th generation Greek. My Greek side of the family still very much celebrates our Greek culture and my great popou brought those traditions with him on the boat.

on the other hand, my other side of the family is descendant from the first settlers in Ohio. thats whats nifty about the US.

My dad came from California, my mother came from Tasmania in Australia, and her mother (my nan) came from England. So it's something like one third American, one third English and one third Australian!

My surviving families and relatives are pure American now, however my dad's side started in Germany and my mom's side possibly Britain.
