Newgrounds posting + youtube = fail

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated, though it is pretty strange.

Basically whenever I am listening to a song on youtube, and trying to type in this fantastic yellow box, the song will get very choppy and annoying, and the computer sort of freezes and slows way down, sometimes rendering me unable to do anything for around 5 seconds. It started out as mild annoyance but has become a fairly prominent problem.

It doesn't seem to happen on many other sites, so... well, you know, any help is appreciated, or any suggestions, or any anything, really. Thanks.

Maybe, I always thought of Wi/ht as a newgrounds only question forum, where as this sort of crosses between two websites.

Windows XP and Firefox (of course).

Perhaps your computer hasn't got a high enough spec? If it has worked until recently, perhaps you need to update the drivers for your sound card.

How bizarre. Perhaps it's your computer, as I have no problems when viewing videos and typing here on Newgrounds. I actually have a video opened in another tab, and am having no problems.

Well, I don't think it is that, my cousin recently built the computer I am using now from his old one, he bought some nice new parts and built a new one, not to say his old one was bad, just not up to standards with what he wanted to do.

I'm not very computer knowledgeable, but the one I am using now is much better then my old one, which never had this problem.

Uh, it seems to happen a lot when I use Mozilla's spell checker, where as before I was using a google one, perhaps that could be it.
