I can imagine there are thrift stores near churches as my job sprouted from a church garage sale to a store.

I hope you do too. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

There were three other N64 games being sold for a dollar each. I managed to save one that was going to the dump.

To me it looks like a Thumbelina-sized male Cinderella left behind his glass boot.
Das Boot!

Many of the items I find where about to be thrown in the trash. I was lucky enough to recover them.

Most definitely yes! I just need to get eBay figured out and I'll start selling.

Items:
-Shot glasses

Holy fuck, man. You, sir, have an awesome job. All of your finds are really cool, especially the SNES and the many games that came with it. Which leads to a question: How commen is it to find old NES/SNES/Genisis games in these kind of stores?

From eBay to pure nostalgia, you'll have a good hunt.

I only shaved twice. First one to cheer my father up and second from a haircut from a cousin of mine.

From time to time we get consoles. A few weeks ago I found an Xbox but didn't buy it. Games from all consoles do get donated sometimes. Just try to visit a thrift store a few times and you might be lucky.

It looks like I've pretty much dried up all the thrift stores in my area... One closed down and nothing interesting ever passes through the other anymore.
Look a little extra for me, I can never find anything exiting anymore.

Hah, nice find. I still have my old N64 from when it first came out, but it was the Smoke colored variety.

Dammit, I loved that game.
I once saw a N64 for 75 cents, but it was so badly beat up I didn't even bother.

I went to my thrift shop near my school and I got a SNES for about 4 dollars.
I love these stores.
I paid $15.00 for an SNES and a PlayStation 2. It was worth it.

I wouldn't have bought that console either. I may buy things from thrift stores but I still look at quality.

Erm, I apparently have to have a signature to delete my old one so here I am writing.
This thread overwhelms me with nostalgia.
I simply miss the past when technology was clunky. Now everything's all sleek and too well-designed.
Today I found a Canadian cult classic movie on VHS...
...Heavy Metal!
Heavy Metal is an American magazine full of illustrated stories, usually fantasy and science fiction. A Canadian film company made this movie and the movie is a compilation of Heavy Metal stories.
Oh my god i want it i love stuff from wars and such
I have a full box of cold war M-1 Gas masks and goggles. I stole (took) them from some abandoned warehouse.
Tomorrow is my step-father's birthday and I found something at my work that he enjoys. I bought a hand-painted limited edition dragon statuette for $0.50.
He likes fantasy stories and figurines so I'm sure he'll like this figurine.
Shave that ridiculous caterpillar from off your lip.
