JudgeFUNK (a.k.a FUNKbrs), for founding the rival Devils Advocate Group, for keeping balance in teh Universe with strong counter debate, and prooving to be the most flexible and radicalized free-thinker.

Jimsweenie (a.k.a Jizzm) for causing most friction and angst and consternation by fixating a narrow closed-mindset approach on topic beyond the call of duty, for driving a wedgie between himself and PC and DAG, and generally strengthening both as a result.

BUSH (a.k.a Tex) for generally getting so many people insterested in politics, for having the most topics started for and against his leadership, for skrewing the global economy with war and generally making a new generation of pessimists, for finishing daddys war.. (um, nearly ;)

Blair (a.k.a Sir Blair) for.. err, same as Bush but with zero flair, and no memorable Blairisms, for best asskisser of a US President, for taking the Brits back to Iraq after nearly 50 years absence - thus resuming Englands Emerial Empirismness..

Schwarzenegggger (a.k.a Arnie, a.k.a Govenator) for best political rally, for best political body (?), for showing that political nouse has little or nothing to do with electability - as in the popularity contest known as Democracy.

Saddam (a.k.a. S&%$@#!!) for standing against the most powerful nation in the world - even if it meant invasion of one's own country, and living in a coffin-hotel - than just taking a holiday with the family. For best bluff into war, for best hidden WMD, for best TV media coverage, and for 2nd most topics dedicated to a (ex)-Leader.

I haven't posted on the forums nearly as often as I should so I don't know half of the people you just mentioned. But I do remember JudgeFunk making alot of valid points in what few posts I did read so my vote is his.

It takes balls to stand up to a nuklear world power and for that I tip my hat to you, Saddam. You may have commited genocide and been an all around asswhole but your memory will live forever on as the bad guy in the most televised war in history.

Bush makes me feel like whacking my head against a wall. This is the only time I'll ever cast my vote in his favor.

For worst political nominee. I want to put up my govenor BIll Richardson. He single handely fucked up our education system by lower teacher salary and funding. Best politician, I nominate Matt Gonzalez, Green Party candidate in the San Francisco mayoral race. He didn't win, but came a lot closer than he should have to beating the established Democrat.

Worst politician, John Ashcroft. Whenever you can get the extreme left and the extreme right to agree on something (hatred of the Patriot Act), you've really accomplished something.
