When I told my parents I had a girlfriend, my Mum came over to me when I was on my own and started a conversation about contraception, which was awkward but didn't last long since I assured her I already knew it all.

Nahhh, one day a book just appeared in my room called "Let's Talk About Where Babies Come From".

My dad gave me a little talk on the whole 'teenagers' thing though, saying that it was ok to do drugs, drink, have sex underage and all the rest of it 'as it's just a faze' when I was 13, at which point very little of said talk applied to me and just got me very confused about my dad's opinions of me.

No, I don't think I ever talked to my parents about it, I learned all about it in elementary school from "Family life" class.

My parents knew I knew from school, there was never a reason for "the talk".
