The fact that you're asking suggests you shouldn't. If you feel guilty doing it, then don't.
Save them for your kids or something.

Maybe 3. Or 4, oh sod it I'll finish the whole pack.
Really, if you're quitting and you have one, you might as well have not even given up for the time you've not smoked one.
Would you wank if you were giving up masturbation based on "the free porn on the internet would be a waste of free."

Hell, make it your last pack.
Goddamit though, those are going to best twenty cigarettes you've ever had.

You could do the illegal thing and sell 1 cigarette to a high school or junior high school kid for 1 dollar a cig and make 10 -12 dollars off your remaining pack. Or just say that was the worst x.xx you spent on anything? If you quit, then you should just quit, a few dollars for some health issues is worth it. Never know if it's that last cigarette that caused the cancer, not saying your in danger or anything.....
I'll just stop before i go into the spew of what's in them and crap.

You can still periodically smoke, smoking only harms your lungs if you frequently smoke a large quantity of cigarretes.

Hey, why even quit? It's not like you'll get lung cancer or any other form of cancer for that matter.

There really is no way of answering that question, despite the loads of folk wisdom posted here already.
What you have to assess is your own risk reservations. It certainly is possible that the extra cigarettes will hook you again. Is the price of the pack worth potentially getting hooked again (and consequently spending more money on packs, and killing yourself and all that fun stuff)?
If you were able to quit without any adverse effects, I'd value that much more highly than the fifteen some odd dollars you spent on a pack.

No! You can't! If you stop smoking then your username will become ironic, and then someone will laugh at you!

yeah you've not even quit for a week according to your post history
you're not over the hump yet
it was pretty hard for me to quit smoking, you notice a lot of triggers like waking up, taking a shit, stepping outside, doing work, finishing doing work, et cetera. Not easy even if you can tolerate the physical craving. They start to smell really nice, too, it's crazy shit.

Well, I mean you don't want to waste money after all...
Sounds like your making excuses for yourself, don't, if you really want to be serious about it you could just throw them away.

Haha this poor girl in one of my classes told us first class that she stopped smoking.
Now I'm in what, week 5? Her eyes are still sunken and BLACK AS HELL. Like she's on heroin.
Which means of course she's STILL going through withdrawal, but she's also still not smoking.
My lungs hurt just looking at her. Poor sap.
