Have you ever heard of the bug the Ant Lion? It is a type of bug that digs bits and burrows itself in them. Then it waits... If an ant or any other bug walks over the put the bug uses its giant jaws to chomp on the bug and kill it and eat it!
Could you imagine if theses things got like really big!? Big enough to trap and eat humans?

That thing is ugly. Given our pretty bad record with sneak attacks/booby traps (Vietnam, Iraq) I would say that we are pretty much screwed when it comes to a life size version of this monster.
