1. Super Mario Bros.
It's the one that started it all, and no matter how old or young you are the game can still be challenging. Especially to those who think being a game master is playing FPS. Pfft.
2. Super Mario 64
I don't care how many good reviews Super Mario Sunshine or Super Mario Galaxy have gotten. Super Mario 64 in my mind is still the best of these. I remember two days ago picking this game up again saying I'll only get 8 stars, defeat Bowser, and save and quit... however I ended up playing and I realized that I had 60 stars.
3. Super Mario Bros. 3
Truly one of the best of the best when it comes to Mario. Super Mario Bros. 3 just had so much action packed within it and it really gave me a great experience as a gamer.
4. Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars
Turn based Mario? Awesomeness. Mario's last game on the SNES and he went out with a bang on the SNES. Not to mention this game came out in 1996, the same year as Super Mario 64. Although the N64 was booming with success, people were still playing Super Mario RPG. That's dedication.
5. Super Mario World
Mario's first game on the Super Nintendo basically picked up where Super Mario Bros. 3 left off and introduced you to those cute and loveable creatures known as the Yoshi's. Super Mario World was the first game I ever played and I will never forget it.
6. Paper Mario
7. Super Smash Bros.
8. Donkey Kong
9. Mario Party
10. Super Mario Bros. 2
