500 stickers

The other day the most wonderful package showed up at my door, 2 stacks of postal stickers, containing 250 stickers in each. I plan on using every single one of these stickers and then stick them all over my city. I'll post a picture of every single sticker in this thread, and a picture of where i put it if i can.

why would it go into a different forum or is borderline? I'm hand-drawing every sticker my self, each piece is original. I started a new thread for this because this is a separate project then just my main art thread.

That's a rad idea dood. :D I thought about trying something like that.. With just my "Rhunyc" name somewhere on it.. So that maybe if people who saw it were smart enough, they'd google it or something. xD

But yeah, I'm kind of excited to see what you do with them too. :D

I actually haven't settled with a name yet, was thinking about maybe using FAIC as my name, kind of in homage to newgrounds :-P

This is an awesome idea, but it sucks that they will probably be ruined or taken down eventually. Still, I understand that it would be sick to just walk around the city, see one of your 500 stickers and think "I drew that piece of art! :D". Good luck man.

hell yeah i'm going to, hopefully i'm going to scan them if i can so i have a good image of them so later i can pay to get a bunch of stickers printed for me.

yeah because technically they are property of the usps so if they find out you are using them for a purpose other than their intended use, they can fuck you up the ass if they'd like. usually doesn't happen, but it can.

If I'm not mistaken...They are basically blank shipping labels that you can draw on.

alright dude you might get dissapointed on these if you're using sharpies
marker fades in the sun really quick, and rain makes drippies that can ruin your hard work!
My experiences say that you might want to start working with acryic paint, spray paint (good for backgrounds!) or inks that are labeled for the out-doors (look in fishing section, or ask about them at a hardware store)
It looks like you're using pen, on some of these, so I don't know what will happen to them becuase they make a groove that might protect the lines

Oh god this got pulled back from the depths, guess i better get on some more stickers, and austin i'm not new to making stickers, these are all drawn using indian ink, and then they are heavily coated in hairspray to waterproof them, so don't worry they'll be up until someone rips them down ;)

hey guys, i'm interested in this idea, but i tried ordering some but when it came to input the mailing address, it said they werent doing international orders at this time (i'm in england) is there any way to get hold of some or some like this for free from another source?

Well, i didn't go through the whole process myself, but i searched around online and found a guy saying that if you create a UPS account and register yourself as a business (just make one up) then they'll send you an unlimited amount of blank postal stickers.

If you try it out let me know how it goes, and post a picture of the stickers they use, curious if they're better than the ones i have.

Today i figured out what my niche is going to be that'll make my stickers (and maybe wheapastes in the future) stick out from everyone else. I'm going to have the characters i draw talking to each other, but leave the speech bubbles blank. So people on the street can write in what their saying to each other. I might write in my own first bubble to get it started, but i like the idea of going back to it and seeing what people wrote. What do you guys think?
