how can i keep the centers of two mc's on top of eachother?

place one on top of the other and center it using the arrow keys to move it around ?

no. my problem is one of the movie clips is being moved, and the other needs to go wherver the first one goes but stay centered

onClipEvent(enterFrame){
this._x = _root.(your followed instance)._x;
this._y = _root.(your followed instance)._y;

replace the perenthisis with your object name.
