The First Time You Got A Boo-boo

Tell us about the first serious time you got hurt. Not that little paper-cut, not scraping your knee, but a time when.....you broke your first bone, tore some muscles off......something that left the big scar that you look at when you're bored.

As for me....When I was 9, I was having fun in a pool. So, I decided to experiment and do a flip off of the diving board. I jumped, and as I was coming down, my lower leg hit the the board. It fractured the place it hit, and it left a long gash down my leg, some of it deep to the bone. The blood was hell in the pool, the entire thing turned red.

So, let's make some people grimace.

I broke a barber tool sanitizer and still have the scar. I have a chickenpox scar on my right shoulder. I cut myself (on accident) with a plasticknife on the wrist and have that scar, too.

Basically, all uncommon scars.

When I was seven this asshole kid pushed me into the road and I got hit by a fucking car. My arm and left leg were broken. Its ok though. His parents got a declared they were getting a divorce two days afterward.

When I was in 3rd grade, some asshole pushed a bench onto both my hands. I was lucky I only broke one finger. Bitch had a record of violence, got expelled.

I was crawling at full tilt and slammed head-first into one of those upright water radiators. I got stitches right in the middle of my forehead, but the scar's moved over to the left side of my face over time.

I was seven I think, and I had this red bicycle that I used to zoom around on. I rode it to the top of our street and bombed my way back down towards my house, got within ten metres or so of my drive and realised I was fucked. So I slammed on the brakes, I flew forward and slid down the drive on my face and hands, the bike flipped over my head and ended up in my next door' neighbour's garden, and I had big gashes on my head, arms and hands afterwards. It was immense.

When I was like 7 or so I thought it'd be a good idea to stand on a pint glass and roll on it. I was holding onto the sofa at the time and I had both feet on the glass, of course it gave in and a big shard went into my right foot. It was bleeding madly, I remember on our way to the hospital I had a tea towel on my foot and the whole thing was red when we got there.

Had to have three stitches and I remember as the doctor was numbing my foot up I was waving madly at the pain of the injection. I didn't make a sound, I just kept waving my arm to ease my dislike.

Only real bad thing that's happened to me.

I once got a blood clot which I was sort of lucky I survived since it was clotted for a good few days.

Well, it all happened when I was around eight-years old.
You see, I had just started using bikes with handle breaks on them, so I had a hard time adjusting to which handlebar break to use first. So anyway, me and my brother would ride our bikes down this hill with many potholes in it, so we had titled it "Death Hill." It was my turn to go, so about halfway down I start going pretty fast. So, I had used the handlebar break to slow me down. TO BAD I USED THE WRONG FUCKING BRAKE! I had literally flipped over my handle bars and messed up my body pretty bad. I had two bones broken and a river of blood covered my face coming from my forehead.

Well I did... I just got cut by it and pulled it back before it fully cut my finger off

I was in gr.1, we had this huge play structure in the gym, and one of its most popular feautres was climing it and jumping off onto one of those big huge blue mats, so i did this a lot, however one day i tested how high i could go, and climbed to the top, than jumped off and landed, but when i landed i broke the bone in my foot. My dad came and got me, made me climb up like 100 steps of stairs to get to the hospital, it was horrible, he could have just carried me but no, said i was fine, so that didnt help. i got the cast on but every week i had to get a new one because i kept ruining the one i had cuse i always wanted to do something adventures, even on cruthces. The sad part is after my little jump they took the play structure down in the gym, my bad.

I stepped on a 2 inch long nail that drove up into my foot and partially into the bone in your foot.

I squatted nude in front of a webcam and slowly shoved an empty glass jar up my ass. It shattered while inside my rectum and I had to slowly pull the pieces of glass out of my ass as blood poured out. It hurt like shit but it became a great internet shock video.

About three years ago, I was opening a box with a knife, and I ended up cutting my left pinky (directly where the second joint is, palm side) . I didn't cut the bone, but I did get four stitches on it, and I had to wear a little splint for a month or so. Also, for about 6 months, the tip of said pinky was very numb.

As I typed this post, I was rubbing the scar with my thumb.

oh, better elaborate...

well, the pipe was sitting there on a flat rock, and some stupid group of kids were putting a nickel on one end, and then jumping on it to catapult it into the air. i didn't know this at first, so i was all like OMFG! WTF JUST HAPPENED?! and i also didn't know they were doing it. i was walking by the end with the coin on it, and a kid jumped on the pipe. it hit me right underneath my jaw at probably around 80-90 mph. there was blood literally pouring from my mouth, but it only chipped one tooth and fractured the lower half of my jaw from the impact. later we found out that what happened was it hit the bottom of my mouth, and it was slightly open, so my teeth to smash into by upper lip which caused all the blood.

In year 3 PE we were playing a game, I was being chased and as my school was a piece of shit with leaky air con or something. Anyway, instead of fixing it, they put a bucket under the leak. Someone had moved the bucket and I slipped on the wet patch. It was ok. I didn't get hurt, but then the guy that was chasing me slipped on it too, our heads collided and I ended up snapping my front tooth clean in half.

The dentist made a fake half tooth for me and glued it on.

Well I was out skateboarding with my friends and was trying to grind a steel banister outside this corporate office, it was like a 14 stair staircase, si I try it and it goes good, for about a millisecond, then my board comes up from under me and I do a faceplant right into the stairs. I had a concussion, a fractured wrist, dislocated leg and was in bed for about a week.

Apparently when I wasn't 1 yet, my mom fell pretty badly with me in the back of her bike. My skull got cracked open and apparently I was on the brink of death.

A year ago I saw my grandmother (from dad's side) again and it was quite striking o hear her say that she's glad I turned out really fine, cause she was afraid that I would be a goner for life when she saw me in the hospital then.
