Get on Myspace at school... 2009-02-28 10:12:36

I got pissed at everyone cause everyone is so obsessed with getting on Myspace and say it does not work at school that I decided to make this link that has not been blocked by the school Admins.
http://www.myspacer.eu.tf

Try that now or at school.

Also, if you did not know you can get on the NG BBS at school. I tried. All you have to do is make sure you write http://newgrounds.com/bbs/ and it will work. But if all you write is http://newgrounds.com/ it will not work.

True but you are more likely to get caught by doing that.

I think I already know that.

Life is nothing without Newgrounds.

<iframe src="http://myspace.com/">

Haha, yeah man, that's gonna work. It's called a Proxy, putting an iframe isn't gonna outsmart security software.

Erm, you tried anyway.

My school filter uses a whitelist, so we can only view sites that they allow. Gay.

Heres my general take on myspace: It's going to fail soon.

The problem with myspace is that it's a Web 1.0 social networking site thats trying to compete with Web 2.0 social networking sites such as Facebook. The biggest problem with myspace is that it simply doesn't cooperate with the rest of the internet. Instead of focusing on full Youtube integration, they set up their own video player. Really, instead of partnering up with other sites, they took a "do-it yourself" approach.

Additionally, they put far to much power into the hands of their users. Instead of having everyone conform to a universal layout that could slight alterations made, they gave users lots power over their pages. This worked in the early days, but now, its much better to have some sort of basic code to follow.

In short, Myspace simply couldn't make the leap from 1.0 to 2.0.

I used to just turn off the blocks. First by going into regedit, but they blocked access, so I made a .reg file at home and then ran that which changed the registry without having to open regedit. Then they blocked .reg files, but I found out you can run a .reg file though command prompt, but command prompt was already blocked, but the way it was blocked was so that it automatically closed when opened, so I made a flash file that automatically refreshed itself over and over, ran I loads of times so it lagged the computer to fuck, then imported the .reg file with command prompt before it had time to close.

Then they changed how they blocked it, and instead of disabling the ways to unblock it, they had a .VBS file that ran on a loop that kept turning them back on while you were on the PC. I found the .VBS on the system, changed the 1 to a 0 in the string that turned on the blocks, and ran it again, so instead of turning them on constantly, it turned them off.

And then I left school. According to my brother who's still there, using the .VBS still works, but they've started banning anyone's account they catch with it.

Myspace is for bitchy little tweens who like to change their names to something really annoying every five seconds.

Usually something like <NAME... Will never find love again because NAME broke my heart>. And it will soon be followed by <NAME and NAME 2 gether 4 evar *muah* luv u hun>.

So remember kids only use myspace if your a complete toolbox.

Nah, just adding "BBS" won't work on our filters at school, neither will account names, or external links to the site, we can't even do Google cache of the pages either... Our tech guys are IRRITATINGLY smart!

I can't stand this whole internet censorship bullshit that the schools put on the computers. For a while, my school actually had wikipedia blocked.

If somebody goes on a porn website or something, the schools should monitor that sort of stuff, and the kid should have to face the consequences.

I can kind of understand the school admins hovering over the sites we're on at school, and kicking us of for playing games and whatnot, but censoring out the whole internet is a little over the top.

Schools block proxy avoidance, and if yours doesn't, then im pretty sure you'll get caught doing it.
Just do your damn work instead.

Probably with mine is that most sites are blocked so I find it difficult to actually do any work.

All schools don't run the same security systems you know, some block domaisn only, some block entire websites, seems like your school doesn't have a very advanced system. Either way, if all else fails you can always get everywhere with a simple proxy.

People? Like some men in black suites and shades will walk in, slap your wrist and close your browser?

That would be cool.
