I was wondering,When I make a shooting game how would I make it so when the guy shoots at me that it would hurt me also>?Instead of me only shooring the person you get no fun from that=(

ya even on my adsl connection it screws around with me sometimes. egad. junior year just started for me and i am fuckin swamped, skater video and rob3 are delayed like hell, i dunno when the hell ima finish them.

Make a movie clip of the guy shooting you so that after a period of time he gets you. When it gets to this point use "tell target" to make your health meter (a separate movie clip) go to the next frame. The next frame should have the health depleted. At the point where the guy has shot you in the movie clip, make it go back to the frame where he starts shooting, so it loops and he keeps shooting until you are dead. To give the option of shooting the bad guy first choose "actions" in the button of him and "onmouseover press= go to frame etc" This will make it so that when you click on the man to shoot him the timeline will jump forward past the point where you shot him and you will keep your health! Phew! Does that answer your question?
