Also, how should i plan?

Also i find the brush-tool quite handy, but what is the actual difference between Brush and pen (Exept the fact that pen produces LINES and brush > FILLS)

The best short flashes are based one, maybe two jokes. Brainstorm something funny and flesh the rest out.

Depends on your style, try them out and see what fits you best

In order
-Brainstorming
-storyboard & sketches (Falls under MainChars)
-Script
-More Sketching & Designing (Falls under shading, coloring and outlines)
-Setting up you art onto the flash
-Animating
-lipSyncing & Audio (Voices)
-Background
-Music (Experiment with different songs)
-Go back through it for anything you may need to fix a few times/Finishing touches
-Publish & Make a 46 x 46 GIF icon for your flash
-Submit

And brush tool would be the best you can use with a tablet
Line tool would be the best for mouse
