It sounds like you didn't use all the notes. Especially in the beginning. It also sounds like the notes are too low.

It definately needs editing specifically for this game.
As we've said many times before, tracks that weren't made specifically for the game, or at least edited for this game from old tracks cannot be accepted.

Genre doesn't matter as long as it fits with the original games feel and fits with Smash Bros.

Oh! I don't know if this would work for the game, but since Megaman has SO MANY freaking level themes, you could use my Megaman Megamix, which might be better, since you said that themes like Snakeman weren't memorable, so why not use a song that has a crapload of level themes.

sorry for double posting, but I just read that you don't want songs from random stages.
Considering that Chill Penguin was the first boss (besides vile but he doesn't count) to appear in a megaman x game, I don't think this would qualify as a "random stage."
