Does it really matter what version of Flash you use? I mean I have Flash CS3 but I'm starting to think there are better versions that help your animations WAY better.

Nothing will help you improve your animation now than practicing. Just because you don't have the latest Flash version doesn't mean CS3 can only do sucky animations.

No.
CS3 is fine, it's a step up from Flash 8 which the majority of animators use.
Just practice and don't try to pin failings on your version of Flash.

The higher the version, the more features. Although a lot of people don't Like the adobe Flashes and prefer the Macromedia programs it will not improve your animating skills. The only way you can improve in animating is jut from practice. You could use Flash 5 for all we care.
