Sooooo i got a quick little update for ya. My friend brought up an interesting point about doing the names. At first, i was only going as far as the outlet beam next to my desk (see pic, it's over to the left), but there would be no way i could fit as many names as i wanted in that small of a space. So, i'm going to expand my project!

As you can see, my computer area, is next to my bedroom area. So now, my project is evolving from a series of names shaped like buildings, into an entire landscape. I'm going to need some artistic help with this one, so if you have suggestions, feel free to jump in.

I boxed in red where most of the artwork is going to go.

Because i have some pieces of furniture in the way, i'm going to avoid putting names behind stuff (because that would be silly/rude), and work mainly along that part of the wall.

I'm not limited to go as high as i want, but i want to keep the artwork at mostly eye level, and not cover my ENTIRE wall with black.

Basically, i want the finished product to look just like a city landscape, until you get close to it and say "By jove! This wall is made of names!"

Damn right i am! Figure, this is about as creative as i can get down here. I'm surrounded by concrete, so i can't hang any posters up. And i have a clock attached to my ceiling, hanging by some wire. So, i might as well give my basement a little, original art.

I think i'm going to stick with the stamp idea. I'm not using spray paint to do the names, too messy. I've been doing some sketches of landscapes during work. Nothing definitive yet, but i'm getting there. If there's anyone who can design something like a 3D building, made entirely of text, i'd be grateful for the help.

Just make sure, that whatever you do, your fine with it. Because you're going ot have to look at it every time you go down to sleep or go on NG. :D

Thanks for putting my name on there, Elios. I have to admit, if you finish this and it comes out as well as I think(/hope) it will, it will be on e of the most bad ass things I'll ever be a part of. I'm anxious to see the final project.

How are we talking.. can you give an example of the shape you're looking for?

Kinda like this. I was thinking, instead of doing the same old black on orange that we usually see, i would give this project some depth. Put buildings behind buildings, intricate details, etc.

Not that i want to go over the top tiny details/tiny lettering, just something original.
