Ok Number 3!For the runic markings on the stones, try to get the painting a bit more consistent. There are some white patches in them and it takes a bit away.
I used a rock and textured this one a bit to give it some depth Qb. So if you would be so kind as to giv e some more criticism my friend?
Took me for ever to get a somewhat clear shot of it this time.I do feel that I am getting better at this though.
I wanted a bit more older feel to the rune this round so I went back over to add some white to the peaks. Guess that isn't such a good idea. Perhaps another method is in order. I'll keep that in mind.
Also, if you want them to feel more powerful, maybe try some more vibrant colours, like the neons or fluorescents. It will really make them pop.
I have been trying to use metallics to get the runes to stand out. but with with a limited selection I have to mix a lot, and sadly it is taking a bit away from the impact of the metallic. I sued to have efflorescent paints, but they dried up long ago.
I should have made that orange a little more to the yellow to make it brighter. I could make the excuse that the lighting and camera washed out the color a tad, but we all know that would be me just pulling bullshit excuses out of my ass. Also now that I look at it again but in a different lighting, the orange is a bit dull and blends in a little much.
So don't do the white on the rune, and more vibrant colors. KK Makes sense to me.
