If awkwardness what you were trying to achieve with this... I think you've succeeded. It seems like a unlikely pair that could only be pulled off by One who is not stuck inside a box.

The first part of this, I understood. The second part... not so much.

Haha, I completely forgot about those.
When I was working on Perspective pretty heavy a few weeks back. I used a two point grid to play around with this.
It was mostly to practice the grid again as well as some lighting.
Run, its the chicken dead rising up against us!!!
"Where is my BBQ sauce, I'll got this one fellas..." ~ Some redneck...^ I was so close to having a racist joke there instead...

I am of course talking about Beef tips and Noodles with Mashed Potatoes and Brown gravy. And White Castle burgers on the side...
But then again... I'm a hungry man as well :P
Ever since my graphics card crapped out on me the other day, I have had nothing but trouble when it comes to my computer. CS3 didn't like the massive hardware change, so it locked me out, I have uninstalled it so I could try a reinstillation, but it didn't like that either...
So, a long story short, My computer hates me and wants me to die in a horrible fire, or something along those lines.
Letting the bad news roll on, I'm going to be gone for two weeks, not that it matters since I don't update that often anyway. But I will have little access to NG and the Art Forum. But I plan on getting some sketching done in that time, as well as earn some nice cash. Cash that I can hopefully put towards that new computer I want to build.
And trust me, what a computer it will be >:3
So Yeah, I get to hang for today, and then its off to Oklahoma City to work at the state fair and earn some cash !

I know that feel, bro. Seems to happen right when you need it not to happen the most, as well.
Anyway, good luck earning the ever-so-needed cashola.
And a little more
Their is a story behind this one. lets say I was just a "little" Pissed off. The moral of the story; Don't work for immoral and unethical people who treat their workers like shit.
no really... the more I look at those textures, The less I like em.
Perhaps I should try something different next time.
Anyway. I'll forward this on to my DM and see if he has any use for it, or maybe wants to include it in our Campaign as a useable weapon or something
Well honestly I think the textures look pretty neat I have yet to know how to use them. I like the process you used in creating the weapon as well.
Aw, Fucking Hell, THese would have looked much better!
ONe even reminds me of the the Glaive from Krull.
Man I gotta experiment more.

I think the leather texture I used on the handle works alright, but not the one on the blade.
As For the process, I was reading about in in the book about doing a basic silhouette and then trying to mirror it and stuff to get a completely new look.
ON that part, I definitively want to say it was a success
