I think I might buy a new xbox just for this;

To celebrate the impending release of Resident Evil 5, Microsoft today officially announced their much rumoured red Xbox 360.

The limited edition console will be available at the same time that Resident Evil 5 releases, March 13th and will be available from select retailers.

The package will be of greater value than the Elite package with a copy of Resident Evil 5 thrown in for good measure. The red console will come with a matching red controller, black headset and 120 GB hard drive and as a special treat, Capcom are also throwing in a bonus code for their recent XBLA HD Street Fighter title.

Tempting. I've been after a 360 for a while now, but the lack of good bundles has put me off a bit, but with Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter this is one I'll have to look into.

well I'd get it (not just because it looks cooler) but because it comes with RE5 and SFHD

That would be me, and no I'm not.

If I wanted a red 360, you can do it yourself. There's a lot more complicated customisations than a palette swap
