im trying to put a swf. file on a dvd for a school project, is it possible? if so how do i do it.

what if its a tween in a movie clip?

tweens won't work (but if you insert a keyframe on all of the frames the tween goes through, then remove the tween, it will work, and the tween will still be there), any animation that's inside a movieclip won't show (it will only show the first frame of it), and any code won't work.

If you export the move as a quicktime .mov it also exports nested movieclips.

In that mode it takes a while to render out every frame but it does work (without glitches).

Then you put the .mov into a DVD burning software and burn.

I have a process, but you can't work it if there's a Movie Clip containing a loop in it or anything.
Export Movie > Export as GIF > Import to Windows Movie Maker > Some DVD Helper Thingy > ??? > Profit

Just use a swf recording application to do it, you will not only get full support for all features, scripting included(like vcams), but you will also be able to do it in a controlled enviroment and capture all the frames in the movie, even if your computer normally is too slow.
