Has anyone played the recent Mirror's Edge 2D Beta yet? This is yet another 3D, first-person game that's been transformed into a 2D platformer.
Instead of shooting portals this time, the gameplay is pretty much like Sonic, but with parkour. I really thought that the game would suck, but surprisingly the controls worked and it was quite addicting the first time around. Like Mirror's Edge, it does get kinda boring towards the end.
It's still worth wasting time in though.

I played it. Seemed pretty cool and actually rather close to Mirrors Edge.
