I found this sight when Charlie the Unicorn came out...
ahhh the glory days

After realizing AddictingGames was a piece of shit, I searched for some other flash sites, and lo and behold, I found Newgrounds. I played a few games, watched some movies, forgot the site name, and I returned later to make an account.

To think, I could've been an '03.

I forgot. I know I found it when I was like 8 though.
It looked like this.

I was going to technical college in 1998-2001 and some of the other kids who were there showed me this site. I remember the first game I played was Skull-kid. I couldn't get enough of using that chainsaw and killing people lol. I signed up with my first account in like 2000, but then I lost the Internet a few years later and came back on in like 2004 and stayed until about 2006, then I idiotically became stuck on Myspace because of an ex gf of mine, so just recently I "rediscovered" the site and set up a new account. I'm glad it's been going strong all these years and I hope it will keep going strong for a long time.

I've been playing games on here for at least 3 years. Then I finally signed up

I had heaps of Links from sights that stole newgrounds contents Like madness FPA Pico and shit like that and I thought if almost all my favourite flash come from their I wonder If I can fin new ones... And I did

For me, it was The Super Flash Bros. and their Decline series that brought me here. I had found the site a few years earlier searching for games, back when it was still in the old old layout. I strongly considered making an account. It wasn't until I played Tri-Achnid, several years ago, that I was pushed over the edge and went through with it.

Found Newgrounds in Late '05/Early '06, just watched random movies and played random games until I decided to make an account one December afternoon...

I found this site with a crapload of games once (www.t45ol.com)
one of them was Pico's school.
and there was a link to newgrounds there.

In '02, I was on a on Miniclip when I found a game called Squigly Fish Racer (now deleted off the site), which had a link to a site called Newgrounds.com. I clicked it, and I found that it was actually a NG game, and I've on this website ever since. But it's only 'till recently I made an account.

- It was linked to "www.Thatvideosite.com"
- An affiliate was "www.thatvideoGAMEsite.com"
- I found Super mario sunshine 64 on said site
- It linked to newgrounds!
- I signed up 1 year later.

Y'know I don't actually remember...

It was back in '05 and I created my first account after watching RAB13 by Dave seeing as it was frontpaged back then. I then moved onto Jackson Chocolate Factory by Just2Pale and after watching that I was hooked.

I don't really remember how I stumbled across it though. Glad as ever though that I did.

Found Assassin with my buddies when I was 12 in 1999.

Rest is history.

I saw my brother on NG on some Windows Parodies in mid 2004. I decided to check it out as well, but I wasn't aware that you could sign up at that time (also I was like, 9). I stumbled back into the site a year later and signed up.
Just to think, I could be an '04.

There seems to be a new thread in general of the same topic every week, at least.

It was because I had started flash, and newgrounds was the biggest repositary of flash.

I was in this shitty game site, I found a game that came from newgrounds,
I got linked here, and bam, account made in 2004, forgot pass now got this

I found it many years ago... I can't remember the site I was on, but there was a game... Pico's school... I defeated the game... Then clicked on Newgrounds.com... That's how I found it.

It all goes back to quite a few years ago when I first started browsing the site, I just came for the games and animations, though one day, the twenty third of February I believe (at the age of eleven), I finally decided to sign up for the site. I just used it to watch and review flash for a few months, until May when I finally finished with my first ever Flash application and submitted it. Due to several bugs that were found by the reviewers, I went over to the Flash forum to ask for help in simple things like how to disable the tab key and the context menu. After several weeks of helping others with their Actionscript and receiving some at the same time I finally ventured out to General for a single day and was slapped with a three day ban by an unknown moderator (since it was a destroy ban) for posting in a spam thread. I was pretty pissed off at the fact that I had finally received my first ever ban. After this ban had expired I went back to the Flash forum for several months before I was eventually regarded as a Flash regular. I enjoyed hanging out in the reg lounge more than the other aspects of the forum so I ended up not answering up as much questions as I previously did but just talk to my fellow regulars. Later in my stay (mid-September) I started trying to improve on my Newgrounds statistics so I went over to Rage[VI]'s abusive review thread. Before long I'd gained a gold whistle, and by the end of the month I had lost it again, right now I've got a garbage! I started blam and protecting in the portal around the same time and I joined the NGPD. I don't think I've been banned since then for more than one time, though I can't be sure.

I started to fade away from the Flash forum and before long I had pretty much been inactive around that board. At this time I was finally posting a lot over here in General and I started posting at a rate around fifteen posts a day, so my old rate of about three per day rose quite a bit. As part of the NGPD I decided to put more effort into my posts so my high post rate declined by a few posts a day.

I wrote that out several months ago for the thread that Gagsy linked to, so that's just my time here up to December.

and I was looking for a new place to play it and then I found NewGrounds.

Back then I just played Games, now I go on the BBS and lots of other things, like Programming and flash.

I found newgrounds way back in middle school from stick fights and joe zombie. I was here with a few accounts, but I switched out of those for various reasons. I recall that everybody in my school wanted to learn flash and then after a few years people hardly remembered what the program was. Of course I never forgot about the program and knowing nothing about it I stumbled in here.

Found the site when I was 12, didn't sign up until 05, loved it ever since.
Actually, my mate showed me it when he found Retarded Animal Babies, many days laughing my immature arse off looking at the computer screen.

I was referred to it by numerous people when I was young. Before that all I went to watch videos and play games was places like stickdeath. I later found it again searching for something different and I found the Nicholas Weird Adventure RPG and found it funny. I made an account then and forgot about it. Came back again when I found Fancy Pants and made this account.

A buddy of mine showed it to me back in middle school, but I didnt sign up until 03.

I think it was when I was in my "play flash games" era that I found NG.

My original sign-up was early '06, but I left for a while.

Then obviously I created a new account and returned.

I found it about 4 years ago, at school, but I didn't create this user until November 2007

I am 100% sure that this thread has been done before and I have posted in there, but oh well...
I found NG while searching for flash games but instead of a flash game, I found an animation here, on newgrounds, Hero war: battle of titans [Link below] which I liked very much and I still like it...
And as I remember I joined for 2 reasons:
1) Winning money for voting on submissions.
2) I wanted to let a review and vote for Hero war...
I am not sure if those were the reasons but that must be why...
So I started watching some flashes and playing some games here.
Half a year latter, I found out that there are forums in which I wrote some noobish posts...
Some time latter, by becoming a forum addicted from other sites, I came back here, in BBS and I started posting more and more... After some great lulz and lame posts I stopped comming here...
Then after half a year again I started posting and then I haven't stopped... till now...

I hated Pokemon, and wanted to kill picachu... newgrounds had just the thing :)
