Would you run up the score? Although it's looked down upon but still to be safe...

well assuming i was a professional athlete, which i'm not surprisingly, i would definitely run up the score. because i'd be all about personal stats. personal stats are how you get paid, bro.

All you have to do is ignore the media whining.

I think it'd be disrespcetful NOT to run up the score. After all think about it: "well since I'm owning you guys so hard I guess I could let you score a few..." pfft douche

omg I have to think of a clever sig!

Run up the score... it sucks for the other team and their fans... but I have my own team and my own fans to worry about. That's the nature of the game... sports are sports because everybody is in it to win.

The other team, as professionals, should understand this and realize that it's nothing personal.

Unless it is a huge grudge match, or the opposing team is a traditional rival of your team and there is animosity there, I would say running up the score is just poor sportsmanship.

I remember hearing about a girls highschool basketball game that ended in 100-0, and couldn't help wondering what the opposing team's coach was thinking in letting her girls keep embarrassing the other team like that.

So yeah - no running up the score. We saw what happened to the Patriots during their almost-perfect season: they kept on trying to score unnecessary points late into regular season games that were clear landslide victories, and karma came back with a vengeance in the Super Bowl.

Depends who I'm facing. If it's my life long enemy then yes.

When I was little, it was 8-0. We were told to let them score a few points.

We lost because our Coach was a pussy. I retired from little-league Soccer that day.
