No, you won't need a gas mask... I'll just wear one to freak you guys out. I've been doing some research and the only people I can actually contact would be actual residents of the town to get permission... But since the place is a tourist attraction, it's not like they can say no... We just need to stay respectful while we're there.

It's roughly 5 1/2 hours, I did the Mapquest from Worchester.

Anyway guys, I'm still working on this, it's still on. I'm still working for the camping permit, but I've been a little busy taking care of other things going on right now. But it's gonna be kickass!

I live two hours from there. I don't know if I'll go, though. Will you touch me?

I am considering going. It looks like alot of people are around my age group anyways. If I go I plan on bringing a video camera.

Also i did some research on centrailia. The fumes burn your throat and are not healthy to breath in. The residents are friendly there and would not mind having people there. I don't think there are police watching there because of how dangerous it is.

I just don't see how this could be fun. Granted, I'm one of the lady folk, and not a girly girl in any form, but camping in a town with carbon monoxide?

Put me on the "would like to go". I'd have to get out of work and to Pennsylvania, but I might just be able to swing it with just a bit of luck.

Hmm I'm on the fence on this trip (towards coming though) because I don't know when I'm head to Ohio. What are we going to do for food though? Should I bring a cooler of hotdogs and junk like that, or should we all chip in and order a couple of pizzas? I don't really care. Also how bad are the CO2 levels there? Because I don't want to die.

For food I recommend bringing your own food and probably stopping on the way there to get food or what not. At least bring money for food as we could always go out to eat also somewhere around the area.

And you probably don't have to worry about the C02 levels as we can't go to the really bad places and some people still live there even though few in numbers. No one should die unless they piss me off or something. :P

So yeah, bring your own food for yourself, bring money for food just in case, and bring extra food just in case.

If it were dangerous, they wouldn't let us go, wooouullld they? No they wouldn't so we're all good. Apparently there's a WizardCon Meetup going on now too. But since Centralia is only an hour and a half from the other meet, it doesn't really pose an issue.

I know I've been saying this for a while, but I'm still working on getting the permits. Soon though, SOON.

Yea that's roughly what it is for me, but it's worth it for a bunch of Ngers who I don't know. Besides a day full of cockjokes is exactly what I need in my life.

Yeah, it'll be really fun. I'm waiting for a response from the town of Ashland regarding the camping permit. Yeah, for me it's about 2 hours south of where I am.

The option of filming a movie is still totally possible.
