Yes, it's all thanks to the wonderful people here on newgrounds. I remember when I used to type incorrectly, but then I got flamed and people claimed to not understand what the fuck I was typing. Now I type my best and have become somewhat of a grammar Nazi myself.

I almost always write properly. It's those who don't even try that piss me off, especially if they're in their teens. It's fucking hard to read, dammit!

Strangely enough, I now feel the need to have all of my posts (including those off the forums, such as reviews) contain proper spelling and grammar attributes. I have no idea what has compelled me to do so, but I just feel the need to do it now anyways.
So, posing a question to the rest of Newgrounds, do you ever feel the need to write properly when posting anything, and if so why?
Yea, that happened to me to. It's weird, eh? I do it partly to prove to the fucking morons that it's not MSN that makes kids have bad spelling and grammar, it's them being fucking idiots that does.
Fucking wanna-be rappers. Won't get anywhere in life past McDonald's. Fucking morons... Sorry, I'll stop myself before I get into a rant.

I think grammar and spelling are important parts of posting on forums or everyday conversation.

I'll use proper spelling and grammar, but I don't like to go over the top with my vocabulary. People who try to sound extra-sophisticated annoy me.
Ohoho, aren't I witty?

But in all seriousness. I agree with most people who posted in this thread. I want people to read what I type, and I don't want to look like an asshole. No one really want's to look like an ass anyway. Maybe you just also want people to respect you more.

I hung around the BBS before I joined and it doesn't take long to notice that people are using proper grammar and spelling. So, yes. I do feel a need to type correctly. Nothing fancy, just the basics should be fine. That should be enough for everyone to understand my post.

I take people less seriously when they can only tell me to improve my grammar.
There is no point in being a dick, if you can understand what they are saying.

Always. Because it's civilised and easily understood.
