Yes I'm going to be a Father come this August. I don't now what I'm going to do, and I was just wondering when my kid gets older should I be one of those kool parents that wouldn't care if my kid smokes weed (cause I do) or should I not let them. (By the way its my EX-girlfriend that is having my kid and I want custody)

I think the problem with being the "cool" parent and letting your kid do what you do is that your child may start with weed and then progress to harsher drugs. I'm no expert, but I agree that its better to set the standards and be a good role model. I'm a believer in letting kids make their own mistakes, but give them the tools to make informed decisions.
