So are you going to build around it and leave it open one side?
Looks very good btw.

What the hell is wrong with you? Go do the same thing with plastic bricks, then criticize me for every little detail.

find a way to secure the nuts on the motherboard, so you can unscrew the bolts without losing the nuts so you can change parts and such

Ah Yes, computer modders. some of the coolest people around. I love the idea that you want to create a hardrive oflegos and I must say that you are doing great. I mod computers myself and gaming systems too. really all electronic devices in my house are modded.
this is a mod I did to my Gamecube a few years ago when i was a bit newer to modding. I had tuned the Centru/SPU Central Board so that when my Gamecube turned on it would have these special features.
Mer, I used to have some respect for you, now you're just a fag, piss off and troll somewhere else.
As for what the OP is doing, that's pretty sick dude, I'd really like to see more progress on this thing. :)
Sweet, I really look forward to seeing the finished thing. Frame the monitor in lego too, while your at it.
I love this project, it's simply awesome.
I just hope you're going to glue it toogther, at least the fiddly/important bits, since a small impact, of say, some moron putting their coffee down on it or whatever would ruin all awesomeness.
I also know that this, while epic, will never work for me, since I have a set procedure for dealing with computer crashes:
1. Computer crash.
2. Emotional crash.
3. Crash computer into foot. Hard.
...and with that post, people of Britain were so surprised that "tea was spilled, crumpets were dropped and monocles everywhere popped out in shock."
One problem has me going, though.
Do you ever plan on opening this thing ever?
That's the best project I've seen in a while, hope it turns out as awesome as I'm imagining in my head right now.

That is pretty amazing work there dude.
I'm proud to see that you haven't given up. Well Done.
I will continue to check up on this thread, because i would like to see what the finishing product looks like.
This looks awesome. Can't wait to see it finished.
Good idea man I hope it works out and doesnt go wrong. Perhaps when you are done you could instruct us on how to do this ourselves?
Dude, seriously, sell this to the nearest Lego office or something. They'd probably offer you a job building cases for every PC in the building.

ESI is bullshit. Cases like these have been made by reliable, brand name manufacturers.
