I'm adding a fan and vents that the original case didn't have. Just because the building material itself insulates doesn't mean the computer will overheat. How much heat do you really think the case itself dissipates? The heatsinks on top of the more powerful microchips disipate the heat. And as you can see by the crappy aluminum block on top of the cpu, there obviously isn't much heat TO be dissipated.
