i meen really come on, just officialy elect the women and go forth with peace in the middle east all the old guy wants to do is fuck things up even more

That's how Israeli elections work, fool. I should add that she technically didn't "win" since a majority of voters chose two more aggressive/conservative candidates. The division of power is fair, and this election reflects that.

I chose to not laugh at your illegible reply.

Anyway, if i understood your words correctly, you failed to realize one thing. In Israel we elect a party and not a prime minister. The woman also known as Livni, did get most of the seats in the Parliament, however, the right wing in general got 65 seats, and the left wing got 55 seats.
That's why Livni can't form a government, and the "Old man" can form a government, but a very extreme right wing one. Which he doesn't want to do.

Yea it's pretty complicated. That's why they are working for a unification government or a rotation government. But peace? There's no serious group to make peace with right now, even if the most Liberal government would have been chosen.
