The review mods favour trolls?

Are the mods biased towards trolls or something? I noticed that in addition to posting garbage flashes, the spammers tend to also post crap in the authour comments that would get a reviewer modded for even a tenth of what they do. I figured they must have just been over looking this, so I decided to test it out with this flash

Naturally the trolls and spammers flagged it, and it got delted, but their comments and crap flash were left alone.
Bias much? The last time I did this, the flash was deleted and my revied was not, so whats up this time?
its not wonder the portal is filled with garbage, if your going to protect the spammers and punish those who speak out against them

It's all automated. Review award goes to the flash with most reviews. So it's given by normal people, not by some mods. And the spam crap flashes get ton of reviews, most of them saying how it sucks and should be blammed. But those idiots don't understand that they are helping the author by leaving a worthless review.

As for the comments, I believe that also partly automated. So your comment was removed automatialcly once it got enough flags. But there are review mods who browse through the reviews and remove reviews manually.

Yea I hate this to! Getting suspended from reviewing because I wrote an unconstructive review for a flash which was called "fuck you fag ngers" or something along those lines. Usually all I say is, this flash sucks or blam this. It's because of the faggots who report reviews like this. If I see a flash which is bad but I can see they have tried at least a bit, then I will try in my review to help them and not just blam it. But if they don't try (eg. crews) then I will just say what I think

I dunno if it is done automatically, their are certainly review mods.
If it is done automatically its still unfair, since trolling and abusive flashes aren't auto removed with enough whistles or complaints.
The system, itneitonally or untineitonally, seems to be devoted to protecting garabge

Flash authors will automatically get more leniency on NG, regardless of their author comments. Review mods have no control over the submissions themselves, just the reviews. The only way that authors will get remonstrated is if they submit an 'abusive' submission, and that's generally judged on the flash file, not the comments. Sucks, but that's just the way it works.

Like what was said before nobody actually chooses to put these flashes here. It's an automatic system that gives the flashes the award if they meet the requirements. Turd of the week will always be a spam submission since the requirements to get the award is to have lowest scoring flash of the week.

The requirements for Underdog is to have the biggest gap in between Review average and the score of the submission. (The lower the score and higher the review average) This also needs at least 30 reviews to make it.

The RCP needs to have the highest review average of the week and at least 30 reviews. This means the score of the submission has nothing to do with whether the submission gets the award or not.

The submissions that you are talking about will be deleted eventually. Either individually or when an administrator deletes the account of the spammers.

The only way to stop this as a regular user is covered here.

Basically, any semi-organised group inside or outside of NG can achieve these awards, as has been proved over and over again by SS, LL, KK, etc. IF a Flash gets a daily or weekly award, that might actually MEAN something, as in: the author has some Flash skills, so the several thousand worldwide voters actually supported the game/movie, or rather thought it was worthy of a 2+ score.

It's not hard to make something the lowest-scoring Flash of the week. It's not hard, after that, to get a group to review it high once it's off the 'latest 50' list. And the same applies to RCP - once it's off the radar, people ain't gonna notice the sudden review rating rise. This is the flaw in the NG system.

It's actually the flash with the worst score of the week that passed judgment. Don't get mistaken with low scores and blams. Just because a flash has a terrible score it will never get blammed if it has made it pass judgment. When a flash is under judgment they will appear purple on the left side of the flash portal.

Turd of the Week - Users shouldn't aim for this spot. The Turd of the Week is whatever movie managed to make it through the week with the lowest score and without being auto-deleted. We showcase these because they are usually funny (in a bad way).
