Woah, nice idea. I'm in.
Subjects?
Biology for sure, particularly human biology, and physics.

Sweet you are in, first member yes.
Second member.
I'm not big for 'doing labs' but I like reading about them and their results. :3

I love physics experiments.

Those are fun I admit.
I'm talking about Density and Mass labs that I don't like.

Welcome, and i also hate those types of labs they suck.

I don't like anything that makes me do math D:
However, blowing things up is a different story :D

Does anyone? :O

Ha the only explosion related lab I ever got to do in my science classes was a pepsi-mentos lab.
Lucky. :D

Well, I'm not saying I've done it, but I am saying that I'd love to do it. :D

That makes for great stories to share at Thanksgiving. :D

Science...without math?
Ha.

Yeah, sort of a contradiction there.
I'm interested on Chemistry and Math, and maybe Physics, but i'm not so interested on this one
favorite scientist... hmmm... Einstein, i think

I do.
I been reading the thread and i think we need to stay on topic
also... right now everyone is just random posting his/her opinion, what is cool
but right now there is not a real topic to talk about, so any idea for starting a discussion
like... what is the most interesting experiment you have done?
i made biodiesel last year, was cool, it was kind of complex to do...
I'm very good at math and I'm interested in biology. I'd love joining to this club (if it stays alive of course).
I'm planning to study medicine in the future, I really want to become a doctor. I mean, seeing human parts, blood, the pressure of working in a hospital, it's completely awesome :D

Ha.
I know, I know. I'm just saying I like exciting experiments.

I went to this science fair at some college with my class once and we made ice cream with liquid nitrogen.
My science education up until this year has been... subpar.
Hey ok new member who have joined are aldlv and ThePigeonMaster.
As far as the first topic up for discussion i agree with aldv that it should be
the most interesting experiement that you have done.
For me i have done to many really interesting ones yet but at the end of this year i will be makeing a working fuel cell with my engineering club.
As for one that i actually have done it would have to be were we took silver nitrate took the silver out made something else with it took the silver out again and then turned it back in to silver nitrate.

Woo, high five. :D
As am I. I plan to go into neurology, though, as opposed to general practice.

I plan to study Internal medicine, it sounds very interesting :)
But for now, I have to take biology classes in high school. The best part of biology class, is the teacher, he's a doctor :P

Meh, my school doesn't have the enough stuff to make awesome experiments. The best experiment I've made in my school is seeing protozoans in a microscope.
But I own a microscope and a telescope. I sometimes see the moon and stars when the sky is clear (astronomy ftw), and when I used to be 10, everyday I put ANYTHING in my microscope. The most beautiful thing that I've seen in my microscope is a feather of my parrot, such beautiful colors :P

yes it counts in my opinion...
well guys, permaximum1 ask me if i can be a 'mini-mod' here, so i think i'm going to be helping him a little bit... and hope to be helpful for all you too
Well, I would like to initiate to this crew with a group of "NG Scientists", is that what the members are called for? I love Physics and having some interest on it although other of my classmates have some problems on the said subject.
Anyone can state the Newton's Law on Gravitation?

I've done a few experiments, but not really that impressive.
1. Shooting gold particles at a carbonite surface and then count how many clusters were formed.
2. Quantum Hall effect with a huge magnet that gave the computer weird colours and then counting levels in the induced magnetic field.
I've done practica with Brag reflection and such and optics (for instance how a led light constructs white light out of a few spectral stuff
Some chemic practica also, but I can't really remember what it was about.
Newton Gravitation?
That is fairly basic... (F=-Gm_1m_2/r^2)
It gets interesting as people simulate pocket galaxies. You should for instance try 2 suns, a large one and a smaller one, 5 planets, give in initial velocities and then see how you're universe moves about.
I'm not a programming wiz, though.

I like science, I am not to great at it school. I do better at biology but I prefer physics, in particular space and sub atomic particles.
Most interesting science expirment?
My school let us make food in class then feed it to each other.
That or diet coke + Mentos lab. ha
