I have seen alot of flash movies in my days, and a couple I have particularly enjoyed are "Play" by Dustball, and "Play More" also by Dustball. The style in which he animated it was amazing. I know that to grasp this animation style, you must import a video clip into flash and trace it, and then piece it all together. I was just curious as to how you would import a video clip into flash.

Here's My Quick And Easy Guide
1. Open Up Your Animation 2. Go To File > Import > Import To Library 3. Double Click The File You Want 4. Press Ctrl + L Together To Open The Library 5. Drag The File You Just Imported To The Frame You Want It To Go On
Hope This Helped

But, how would I download a video? If I make my own video, how would I download that as apposed to something from Youtube? But, I would like to know how to do both.

Download the video to where? They told you how to download it to flash. If you need help with downloading it to your computer I would recommend reading your video cameras instruction manual.

Maybe I'm not seeing it, but no one told me how to download it to flash. They told me how to IMPORT IT TO FLASH. They said that you have to double click on the file you want, but I don't know how I get it into a folder for me to do that.

I can't believe I actually have to tell you this but to import a video file you need a VIDEO FILE! Kinda funny ain't it! You can get video files from just about anywhere.

From the internet I think he means.
Well first it depends on what video you want, do you want to go over a movie or something? You can get movies off torrent websites such as thepiratebay but they are huge files so you might need to trim them down to the relevant parts you want to trace to avoid crashing flash
