I am working on updating the "History of Newgrounds" page. If you have never read it, now would be a good time!
For 2003, I have jotted down a number of bullet points. These are based on the biggest key events that stick out in my mind from this past year, and I already know I am missing A LOT.
To help fill in the history, I want everyone to contribute their own thoughts. What are your best memories about NG from this past year? What were the changes and events that defined 2003 in your eyes?

Great tom nice to see the update, well F DAY which was on december 19th was a mjor deal, also the bedn meets ur brother was pretty funny. I would say it was a strong year in the bbs/and reviews system and lots of good topics and what not. Tough call on some other events im here 8-10 hours a day but just get used to it so i might miss a few things.

Actually, seriously, I think that there should be a big chunk of it devoted to the Clock Crew, since they really did form a big part of the current day Newgrounds. They really do deserve a lot of respect for being so big on Newgrounds.

If I remember correctly, they re-submitted it.
Hmm... You and the users who have already posted pretty much covered it all.
-Maybe you could add something about how you, like, doubled the amount of mods in the BBS.
-You(NG staff) have also added the NG Personals this year. I'm not sure how much of a success they were/are, but that is somewhat of an achievement.
-The removal of Newdgrounds

i remember the first thing i saw when my friend got me on new grounds... it was killing pikachu. and damn it was funny, but not only pikachu but everything else too. hehe. and now weve got games and movies from such users its good too see what youve made tom..

Last i knew i had 2 spots on the NG cam page and i dont even have an image currently.
well.. the votes needed to get a movie out of judgement was increased... and I'm sure the massive servers upgrades deserve some mention

The "you are a fucking moron" series was made.
I'd have to go with the judgement change on how the movie has to load completely before you can vote on it. it gave the judged movies more fairness instead of blamming it without looking.
Tricky and F-Day were cool...
Then there's Alien Hominid, but I guess that will go in the 2004 Retrospective... ^_^

one new thing that occured in 03 was the new page lay-out. And also more broadband.
