I feel sort of the same way as you, but by far you need to relax. Races outside of the majority usually get double standards in a democratic, unrepressive(overall there isn't that much repression, but there is some so exclude that for the moment) society. Some people also have these views because of the media. Rodney King is a good example since the media only played the beating part (which the cops were dumbasses at the beating part since they could've easily handcuffed him once they got him on the ground). Rodney King was drunk, suspected of PCP, and even stood up after 2 shots of 50,000 volts into his body. Not only that, the cops were chasing them for 8 miles until he got over.

I have an idea, why don't we just emphasize the differences between blacks and whites, thus ensuring that disparity will always exist between the races! That way no matter what your standard of living or race is, you can always blame it on being the wrong race!

Poor? Lazy? Good for nothing? BLAME IT ON YOUR RACE! If you're white, explain that because of white stereotypes, you can't get basic blue collar work because all of those jobs go to the blacks. If you are black, explain that there's no point in getting a job, because you will never be allowed to progress past blue collar work due to white people trying to keep your race down. If you are a successful member of either race, explain that you worked hard to get where you are, and never benefitted from luck or prejudice to get your position.

In other words, racism, AND complaining about racism ARE THE SAME DAMN THING! Anything you say that separates one group of people from another on any basis other than morality is intrinsically wrong and will only cause further division between the two mentioned groups. If you really want to end racism, I suggest leaving heritage OUT of your life, and judge everyone by their merits and weaknesses.

OK, let's have a quick comparison of the differences between Black's and White's:

Black people have more of a chemical called melanin than White people. This makes thier skin darker.

Does melanin affect the brain? No. The only difference it makes is that your skin is darker.

Now higher level students of the Gibberish Learning Class will work out that if melanin doesn't affect the brain, people who have more/less of it aren't neccessary more/less intelligent or more/less superior. Therefore, they should be treated the same.

The exceptional students will be able to work out that, as Connifucus put it, "there's no point complaining about the snow on your neighbor's roof when your own doorstep is unclean." Or, to make it simpler, it's a lot easier, and much better to make yourself better by self-improvisation than to improve someone else with criticism.

You are only focusing on one aspect and that is their color of their skin. Black people also have a larger Achiles Tendon which allows them to jump higher. I might be wrong on the tendon or muscle, but I did hear about that. So why can't there be a difference in brain mass between races if there can be a difference in the initial muscle mass?

This was actually a theory in the 1800s, so what scientists did to prove it was took skull from deceased from several different races and filled them with sand and measured them. Of course the white man was shown to have a larger brain capacity, ie-more intelligence.

Skip ahead to the 1960s. The experiment was redone and guess what, there was little to no variation between the races.

What was the difference? In the 1800s theories such as those were considered the be fact (for women, the body only had so much energy that a women couldn't physically get an education/job AND have children). However, these theories are merely racism disguised in scientific jargon. The scientists of the 1800s expected to find a difference in brain mass so they did. The scientists in the '60s had different and better tools to measure cranial capapcity so they knew there was no significant difference.

We are also getting off track here. I don't think that the real issue is humor, or delving into biology. We must deal with racism in our institutions.

I was involved in an auto accident where I was hit by a black lady. She sued me for $5000 in injuries. During deposition she basically admited that she was at fault. My insurance company still paid her the settlement, avoiding a court battle. The reason, it happened in St. Louis, MO where the majority population is black. The experience of the insurance company was that a black jury would not find in favor of a white person over a black person.

This kind of thing is wrong. History does not matter, nothing can undo injustices of the past. Besides there would be very few people alive today that actually owned a slave (besides it was a minority of people back then who owned slaves, very few could afford even one). I hate to sound naive like bumcheeckcity, but damn when are we going to grow up and stop letting the little things tear us down?

Hey Mason, may I advise you to read "The g Factor: The Science of Mental Ability" by Arthur Jensen? It gives some good facts and ideas about the differences of mental capacity. One of them being that blacks because of their bone structure of their head has a smaller brain then whites. Also, there is a coorelation between IQ and brain size.
