So I'm making this zelda like game but I'm searching for opinions on how is it going to look like, any ideas?
There's the Legend of Zelda style and the Adventures of link style

You are not going to out-do zelda, so why not go with the platformer. That will take some pressure off.

Definitely go top view for that kind of game. Zelda has always been lauded for its open feel and that is more difficult to accomplish with a sidescroller. Alternately, if you're feeling ambitious, you could do a 2.5d 3/4 view game. Gives you the best of both worlds. I'm working on one right now based mostly on a top-down style but with limited support for a virtual up/down Z axis. I'd be happy to share with you my experiences programming this (but not my sacred code :oP).

Yeah I'm gonna but, I'm looking for some opinions of how is it going to look like, I based on zelda because it's going to have the feeling, some metroidish to and most of original stuff.

I actually like the idea of a survival horror game...

My thoughts : Top down game, 3 story house, you and Zelda have the three tri-forces (or 2, w/e) and Gannon sends units to attack through windows and shit...

It can be as basic as holding Zelda in a room for a time period, to her having her own AI kicking the ass of some dudes (and taking damage) on another entire floor to prevent the house from being overan.

It would have to involve just using the bow. Using the sword could make it irritating, but for some parts it could be useful.
