Your body is not physically addicted to it but you can be physiologically addicted to it. You tend to miss being high, everything is better that way.

Anything can be addictive.

If you have an addictive personality, then weed is (probably) very addictive.

Most people I know are either total potheads who smoke nearly every day, or have only smoked once.

Also, most everyone I know who smoked multiple times has tried more "dangerous," if that's even the right word, drugs.

Basically, I don't think anything is wrong with weed itself, but people who try to say it's not addictive or not a gateway drug are full of shit.

Nah I smoke it casually. Not a total pothead though, I can still function. I think.....but then again, I am an audio artist, so it's natural for me to smoke.

Also, most everyone I know who smoked multiple times has tried more "dangerous," if that's even the right word, drugs.

I personally wouldn't try anything beyond weed. Crack, cocaine, heroin, meth, acid, mushrooms, none of that for me, please. I do have a few friends who do want to try that stuff though. Usually I just shake my head at them.

Basically, I don't think anything is wrong with weed itself, but people who try to say it's not addictive or not a gateway drug are full of shit.

For some people who just have that stuff ingrained into their mentality, it definitely is a gateway drug. But those people were probably gonna try more dangerous stuff eventually anyway, so it don't really matter. For many though, it's just a hobby. Like me.

I can't say much tho, I'm probably not gonna smoke for at least 2 weeks because last time I blazed, I thought I was gonna die. It was like flying through hell, literally.

Very true. If it wasn't for weed, I would not have moved on to higher drugs. The gateway theory may not apply to everyone, but if you smoke weed, there is still a good chance you'll try something stronger.

Also - weed is mentally addictive, not physically, which has been noted in this thread already so I'm backing it up.

Most of the people who are saying weed is horrible and is super addictive is full of shit :|

Try it. Really. You won't be instantly addicted to it. When you try it you won't go, "Oh I think I will try heroine now." Honestly, its not that bad, at all. I live in a really nice neighborhood and some of my friends parents even have a medical marijuana card. Sometimes they smoke even.

About health, a lot of studies have been conducted, and all the bad health effects can be eliminated by using a vaporizer. Hell, it even helped my uncle who had brain cancer. It can kill cancer cells (THC + Cannaboids).

Just try it if you want to find out.

I don't think it's physically addictive, but you may be retarded which could cause problems mentally.

i agree with the addictive personality part because alot of my friends tried and stopped and a few including me smoke it everyday. what im trying to get at is its not the drug that makes you smoke it. its just you. i can stop on weekdays and smoke only on weekends whenever i want and ive smoked pot for 4 years and i do this on and off all the time. you dont get cravings at all its just the person. Either you do it or you dont its up to you

From my limited experience of weed, I'd say no.

It is the persons character (addictive personality) that would make it addicting. In fact, technically, caffeine is more addicting than cannabis.

Cannabis does not cause cancer. It irritates the larger part of your lungs ( they can take it, it will heal very fast if damaged) whole normal cigarettes attacks the smaller pathways etc in your lungs. And Hemp oil helps with many Cancer problems.

Probably in the same way video games are, but aside from that it can give you the worst kind of Ball Cancer, as a recent study has shown, I can't find the link, but just google it. Sounds like a win for the anti-decriminalization crowd.

It is in my brother's case. But he is pretty pathetic and weak willed.

He has tried quitting various times for various reasons; for better job, save money, ect...
He still smokes to this day.

Yes and no. Weed itself is not physically addicting, meaning your body will not crave it like cigarettes, coffee or other drugs. It can be psychologically addicting but so anything else.
