//BossFighting collab!//
Introduction:
Is there anything more satisfactory than beating a huge boss filled with missiles and cannons?
NO.
So i'm starting this collab:
What?: yeah, a bossfighting collab. With room for animators and programmers.
Animators should make a movie about a little guy (or girl, but it's an example) beating a huge badass boss.
Programmers have to make a game about the same.
Rules and stuff:
Stage Size: 550*400
FPS: 30 ( i think it's good for both animations and games)
Sprites are not allowed.
Stickmen only if they are this good
Try to make something original, don't copy a boss that already exists.
Some of the programmers is going to make a RPG bossfight. it's ok. but only 1 will be in the collab!
Deadline.... when everybody's done... but i think that this will be submitted the first days of march...
Good luck everyone!
(Need inspiration? Go play Shadow of the colossus or Metal Slug)

OOPS!
that should say "May"
That's better. I could program a small mini-game. That is, if one of the artist/animators will be willing to provide art for the game.
So chalk me down as temporary.
4urentertainment - chalked down
anyone else?
I'll make a minigame.
I'll do the art myself aswell.
Been done before, and really well too. It'd be hard to top the last one O_O

Oooh, I'd be interested to watch this.
Can you give a link?

He might mean Boss Bash, which was not a collab though.
Ya but that only had three bosses, and there were only mini-games, no animations.
To bad no sprites. I understand sprites meaning: premade bosses. But I am almost done making a hand made airship from a airship sprite kit (From mario 3).
It is totaley hand made, block by block, I made it have 4 big lazer cannons, over 50 small cannons, a clawshot, flamethrowers. The ship is in a rough shape of bowser, the "face" of the ship even has jars with spikes for teeth to bite for melee for other ships. Basically a real bad ass huge mothership.
Oh, i made it transformable, into a sub, airship, boat, 4 escape pods, 2 detachable satalight weapons, and can transform into a rough imeage of bowser, and fight.
Well, even if sprites were allowed, i am not sure if I would even use it for this collab, I oringanial made it to be it's own series staring bowser, geno, and the ship. Oh, and Geno's spirite is controlling the ship, as he is a star, not a doll, capible of taking over wood.
If you do allow this, I may consider letting you use it, but if not, I am fine with it too.
Best of luck, bosses are the best part of games!
Stickmen only if they are this good
You just scared 99% of animators away, no offense how can you expect the stick figure animations that good to be created let alone put in a collab, the person who created that probably spent 4 hours a day for a month to create that...
"get out of the car-NO NIKO! YOU GET OUT OF THE CAR"
And you're supposed to dish out as much for work for a collab as well. The deadline is may, so that's 3 months to work.

I agree. It's an amazingly high standard to set for animators.

i am not scaring anim8rs... if you want, read it " no sprites, no stickmen"
No, you've got it all wrong.
THIS is a high standard.
Not that I myself can animate as good as either this movie or the one linked to in the first post...
So is this collab still going on or is it pretty much dead?
hold on, can i be a maybe? i didn't really think about that response.
if this thing still on, i'll make something.
how many parts are gonna be in?
