British : 102,000.

So, yes, having the numerical advantage, the French navy making supplies or reinforcements difficult to non-existant for the British and knowing the terrain better, American won.

However it was not "a bunch of FARMERS" against "the whole British army", and to suggest so is ludicriously ignorant and skews the facts of the matter to the point of making any discussion fucking stupid.

We didn't steal it from the Brits. Most of it was either unmarked, native, or south American territory. The Brits were only taxing because it was the British people, which is wrong to do because the people who traveled to north America where completely independent from the British government's help.

and these farmers "imported" some british army. a'right? but after that, a couple decades later, some soldiers and farmers got pissed off at the rules about the tea and stamples. so here got born the patriots. but some patriots were actually soldiers. but even then, the patriots were so much owned by the british army. but a decade later they owned the british and quickly they the independance thingy.

Actually, the North was quite industrialized. It was because the colonists knew the land better than the British troops would ever know. The colonists could plan the attacks better.

If the British had traitors helping them and had Native Americans who were famous for their tracking skills I would say that both army's had a more or less equal knowledge of the terrain.
But the British locked themselves into their military maneuvers and fought a new war with old strategy's.

What's your point? Farmers did allot more work than those British fags. While they were drinking their tea, we were growing our crop and doing work.

Also, what makes you believe the population were merely farmers during American indipendance? A lack of historical knowledge is the best bet.
