Run Like Hell was a pretty awesome game. In many ways you can draw paralells with EA's dead space.

The abandoned space setting, with a mining theme involved.

The weapons and suit that could be upgraded with power cards lying around the levels.

Several survivors scattered around the station.

An alien growth that takes over sections of the ship.

Aliens able to manipulate voice/video communications.

See the resemblance?

Anyway, this was a pretty decent game that I owned for the Xbox. I never finished it, due to getting a 360 and RLH being one of the games that wasn't backward compatible. The fact that part 2 and 3 have been scrapped is a real shame.

Am I the only one to have played this pretty good game?

Holy shit I fucking love power cards. Any game with power cards has to be awesome.

Good christ you're a faggot.

Italics represents emphasis. I was emphasising the similarity between the power cards in RLH and the power nodes in deadspace.

Go choke on a dick.

Calm down, it's a joke. I just find it funny when anybody uses bold, italic, or underlined HTML on anything that would be otherwise normal.

Yeah, that's the one. Those bawls were a lifesaver.

I had it on the PS2... it was ok.

I never finished it. My biggest complaint being that, for a game called "Run like hell", you didn't do much running. There alway seemed to be enough ammo and energy lying around to always take on whatever the game threw at you.

Then again, I was never really that into it. I got it after being the holy hell out of RE2 and I think that was my mistake. I always seem to dislike games if the genera of the game I'm playing is similar to the genra of a game I just finished.

Too much of the same thing and I start getting annoyed at the flaws of the genra... which is a crappy reason to hate a game. It's like saying I hate halo because I can't use a 3rd person view.

Also, BAWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best in-game marketing to date.

The gameplay was basically shit, but I really loved the story, and the characters had heaps more personality than the cardboard cut-outs in Dead Space. They're both okay games, but from a "graphics and gameplay" perspective, I'd prefer Dead Space.

Oh, and RLH had Breaking Benjamin songs on the soundtrack, lol

It's because RLH was five years in development, with the entire game (plot/characters aside) changed two or three times. The finished product was developed in ten months.
