So NG, what do you think is an epic movie? What's it about, what makes it epic, la la la blah blah blah.

Try to keep it a little old school though, nothing thats not atleast 2-3 years old.

Well, the LOTR movies are epics, because they're obviously long, and they're centered around a hero, as well as a series of battles, etc.

Awesome movie. Ferris Bueller.. like Breakfast Club or Better Off Dead.. is something that never gets old..

But Epic? I'd have to lean towards Return of the King... or Dark Knight... something larger than life..

I don't see the problem with long movies, except when they insist on showing you the story after the actual story. Then it becomes fucking lame.

Heavyweights is an epic, classic Disbey movie about kids in a fat camp that gets taken over by a health nut and he loses control, but they eventually start to change things around.

Even to this day I love it.

I have to disagree .. The acting was terrible and it was SO overly dramatic, that it became funny. =/

So, you didn't like Gran Torino or the The Dark Knight? What are your favourite movies, then?
