I was part of the voting panel.
I'm special.

It's certainly been a great month for Newgrounds, let's hope tit gets even better!
Everyone should note that Pico Day is happening on April 30th!
Ooh, exciting!
Visiting Newgrounds Since 2003
Much <3 to everyone who voted Rhythmworld into 3rd! An enormous congrats to Luis and Glaiel for their awesome entries! I honestly thought that time4cat deserved a monthly spot as well though :(
Cool to see my votes reflected in the final results, since the winners are almost in the exact order I voted them. Congrats to them! We got a lot of great submissions this month, I'd say better things than usual, or maybe it's just me who enjoyed everything a lot.
Thanks for expanding the voting pool. I was going to say something, but Coop said it already >.<

Behold, the Best of January!
Tom, have you ever thought about making the voting panel separate for movies and games, since you break the winners up - why not give people 5 votes for the top movies and 5 for the top games - this way, we might get a more balanced view, rather than one user voting for 9 movies and 1 game, for example.
^ this.
I think I have nothing to add since it is exactly what I was going to say, it would be balanced and also easier (since it can be difficult when two submissions are great, but one is a game and the another is a movie and you don't know which one to put first, ie. the best game and movie of this month).

Well, obviously it was going to win, I also voted it as 1st. It's not only a great thing to watch, but also involves a lot of people and all the content is Newgrounds-exclusive. You earned it :)
Keep making these things. Some day I may participate...
Congrats again to the winners, cheers!
Here is what mine came out to.
I like the idea of keeping track of how I vote for the month
:D
GAH!

Congratz to the winners!
Closure was ground-breaking, rhythm world was close to epic.
A lot of Spam was submitted in January too. You guys have some control right? You have groups of idiots, who insult race, gender, ethnicisity, religion, and everything in between. Their flashes stay below the "limit" you say is there to keep content high. The only people who vote them in are the people in their groups. If you have a rule that say, said members of a group cannot vote on it's own submissions, these things would never get past the initial vote.
(KK), (DD), (KKK), are just a few of these pathetic spammers. There is even a group growing called the Voters Alliance that is chock full of good members like myself, that are sick and tired of Newgrounds pages being filled with this crap. We come here for the real artists, who work hard on thier art, being overwhelmed by this growing rate of crap being submitted. I've been here for years, and you're letting it get worse.
Get ahold of these wastes of resources before it gets competely out of hand.
Thank you,
Jason Smith (BrotherWitch)
Congrats to all who won
wow, im surprised the new Meet'n'Fuck game was only 20th

Yeah, I think it's wierd taht it happened. It's more of a joke than a game.
wibble wabble
Blockhead and NG Sketchbook tour are the only good things in the Top 5's!

It's following the tradition of You Have To Burn The Rope being nominated for innovation in the IGF
$OOPAH NIN10DOH? that movie sucked, but congrats to everyone else!
I kinda wanted Serpent's Grave to get an award.
Yay!
A lot of the ones I voted for did well!
No surprise seeing Soopah Nin10doh! at no.1 but Stamper n' Johnny at 11 surprised me.
Meh, all great flashes got Top 5.
Even though LOZ- The Real Legend was submitted late Jan, still won top 5.
Gotta love teh system.
I can't tell if you're joking, because you never use emoticons. ~ SolidToad
Haha, the results were basically my ballot. Awesome list, Tom. And 'gratz to everyone.
Well, the results certainly came along fast.
Also, there'll be a lot of cash-splitting to do amongst the authors of nin10doh and the sketchbook tour. And not a lot of cash each author will end up with.
