Well, after not posting and leaving the NG forum for some time and going over to 4 chan, then coming back to newgrounds...it seems so slow here.....or did things really get slow over the past few months?
4chan has more traffic, and as a result is more active.
That's just the way it is. The BBS is actually very active for an internet forum.

I prefer the 'slowness', you actually don't run the risk of missing stuff and having to hit F5 every 30 seconds, then be afraid of leaving in case you miss stuff.

4chan was good at some point, but now (for years now, actually), the only people who lurk 4chan are spammers, trolls, 14 year olds looking for porn, and more spammers. This is why I prefer another chan (though I won't mention it, because that increases the possibility that the cancer will spread).
Though in my experience, "A BBS is fine, too."
