What will happen when everyone realizes that online advertising fails and how do you think that will affect the internet?, because most sites wont have the money to operate then.
Some ad programs also give money for people just being on the same page as the advertisement whether or not they click on it.
Just simply someone glancing at the advertisement subliminally associates that person with the thing advertised. They will recognize the name, and anything they recognize they assume is reputable. If they assume it is reputable they are more likely to buy it.
A lot of internet advertisements are used to keep sites to get sponsors and such, so it's much needed for the Internet.
It can provide a lot of benefits for people creating web sites to get their site across or when it comes to promoting a product.
It's true though, that I never click on advertisements due to risk of a virus or something.
Everything I see is just a image of my thoughts "Always looking for a better day..."

I was just thinking....I wonder if in the near future the sponsor/ad companies will go out of business because their not getting any profit, thus them not being able to pay sites that show their ads, then those sites will close down too...Then the end of the internet :(

1. That isn't going to happen
2. Even if it does that wouldn't be the end of the internet, it would just change everything. Most things would become not-for-profit, and those that are for profit will charge fees.
Well, here's an internet ad I found like 20 minutes ago on a list site.
and i'm a mccain supporter
