3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsRolling Stone reports: "The Grammys have managed to coax blink-182 out of their five-year hiatus - sort of. The punk trio will appear at this Sunday's ceremony... as presenters. A Grammy rep confirmed to Rock Daily that blink-182 will take the stage in some capacity, but wouldn't elaborate on the details. Blink last appeared together onstage in December 2004, two months before the band went on an indefinite hiatus. Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker went on to from +44 while Tom DeLonge formed Angels & Airwaves.
"Following the 2008 jet crash that nearly took the life of Barker and DJ AM, Hoppus had blogged that the he was hopeful that a Blink reunion might be on the horizon, and recently admitted that he and DeLonge were once again friends. The revelation that blink-182 would reunite to present together at the Grammys was casually thrown into a roll call of other presenters added to the event, including Kate Beckinsale, Green Day, LL Cool J, Natalie Cole and Diddy."

Holy shit. I havn't listened to them in years. I hope they do reunite. I really really would love to hear them again.
lol, who?
On a serious note, I think the only reasons the may still have fans is because they want to see if Travis is deformed or some shit.
I thought their drummer died?
Also, they suck.

80% 2nd and 3rd degree burns on Travis' body.
A reunion would be kinda cool. I only started listening to them about a year ago. They're one of those boy bands that doesn't completely come off as gay.
Do what now...?

That's the article, I didn't write that.
It sounds like they will be there to announce an award, but won't actually play a song.
=(
RAWR.

My sentiments exactly. However, it was also a bit frustrating to repeat several times in my mind.

Being a 13 year old, you weren't around for the glory days, cosidering you were only 8 when they broke up. Enema of the State=classic album
yay, a mediocre kiddie rock band is coming out of hiatus. I'm so thrilled. NOT!

Oh, you mean Green Day 2.0? All joking aside, I think Blink-182 isn't that bad. Wake me up when System of a Down announces they will reunite.
I'm too damn lazy to make a decent sig right now.

Do you have to be a has-been to present the Grammys?
That's great to hear. When I started liking Blink-182, they splitted, so a "reunion'' gives me hopes of a real comeback. Punk, Pop-Punk, Rock... whatever label you give them, I'll still like them.
So are they reuniting for just one night, or are they reuniting for another album and tour? If they came to my town I would definately want to see them.

Blink-182 was ass back then and is ass now. They were like the equivalent to Fall Out Boy back then.
What is it about Blink-182 and 13 year olds with poor taste in music?
Acting grown-up doesn't mean you are grown up.

Not going to lie, I had the same reaction.

You had gods like the Deftones and you wasted one of your 5 senses on crap music that was as random as the stupid shits that roam school.

Oh yes, these are such quality lyrics. What was I thinking?
Thanks for reminding me that lyrics are the most important part of any song.
I almost fucked up, thinking that the whole song is more important than any part composing it, forgive me.
Muchos gracias, bro.
Oh, and mentioning one band does not make your taste in music as a whole any less terrible.
btw don't like blink, just defending them because from what I can gather most people who dislike them don't know music from noise. At least if your opinion was slightly respectable, could you get away with.
...also, TL;DR.
Well, good for them. I'm not a fan, but I didn't mind their hit songs, back then. Some were kinda catchy.
Also, Blur, another '90s rock band, is returning from their hiatus. :)

they arent even technically on a hiatus are they?
cock joke
I liked them a lot when I was young, and my older brother was buying their CDs, but now I listen to them and.... :(
Well, I was never a fan of blink-182, but my cousin was. I wonder if this will cheer him up...

I loved Enema of the State. Take off your Pants and Jacket is also a good one. It really ruined my day when I heard that they were going on a "hiatus".
omg that would be so cool. I did like a bit of the Blink 182. They had some funky tunes.
